This year’s Curatorium meeting took place from 11 to 14 February 2026 at the Sts Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology at Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic).

The meeting was preceded by an international conference entitled “Dialogue and Reconciliation”, co-organised by Presidium member Dominik Opatrný together with the faculty’s newly opened Max-Joseph-Metzger Institute.

The conference highlighted the responsibility that churches and theology bear for peace and coexistence in Europe and beyond. Through lectures and discussions, participants reflected on the role of theological dialogue in fostering reconciliation in contemporary society.

The gathering once again provided an important opportunity for exchange, collaboration, and strengthening the shared mission of the ESCT community.
